Gutters

Seamless Aluminum Gutters

The workhorse gutter for most homes. One continuous run per side, sized and colour matched to your house.

We install 5 inch and 6 inch seamless aluminum gutters on new builds and existing homes. Each run is cut to length for your roof, so the only joints are at the corners and the ends.

Size matters more than most people think. A gutter that is too small, or has too few outlets, overflows in a hard rain no matter how well it is hung. We look at roof area and pitch, then pick the gutter, outlet size and downpipe spacing to match.

Signs You Need This

  • Water pouring over the edge in heavy rain
  • Old sectional gutters leaking at every joint
  • New build or addition that needs gutters
  • Gutters that do not match the house anymore

What We Do

  • Measure the roof or work from your drawings
  • Recommend 5 or 6 inch and the right outlets
  • Install with hidden hangers and proper slope
  • Seal corners and ends, then test the flow

Gutters, Premium

Half Round, Zinc and Copper Gutters

Round gutters and round downpipes. The finished, high end look you see on custom and heritage homes.

Half round gutters are the European style: a smooth half circle profile with round downpipes and clean brackets. They suit custom homes, heritage homes and anything with a lot of stone, shingle or detail.

We install half round in aluminum for a clean painted look, and in zinc and copper for a natural metal finish that weathers over time. Copper turns a deep brown and then green. Zinc goes to a soft grey. Both last a very long time.

We also install Lindab, Zambelli and EuroArt systems, proven European gutter lines with matching round downpipes and fittings, and we build custom collector boxes, rain chains and architectural metal details to finish the look.

Signs You Need This

  • You want gutters that add to the look of the house
  • Custom, heritage or high end build
  • Copper or zinc roof details you want to match
  • Old half round system that needs replacing

What We Do

Gutter Replacement

When the old system is worn out, too small or just not working, we take it down and put up a system that fits the roof.

Lots of homes were built with gutters that were too small, with too few downpipes and small outlets. They looked fine on day one and overflowed every winter after. Replacement is the chance to fix that for good.

We remove the old gutters and downpipes, check the fascia behind them for rot, and install a new system sized for your roof. If the fascia needs work, you will know before we close it up.

Signs You Need This

  • Rust, holes or splitting seams
  • Gutters pulling away from the house
  • Overflow even when the gutters are clean
  • Constant repairs that keep coming back

What We Do

  • Remove and haul away the old system
  • Check and repair the fascia behind it
  • Install new seamless or half round gutters
  • Add bigger outlets and the right downpipes
  • Full Tear Off
  • Fascia Check
  • Upsized Gutters
  • Bigger Outlets
  • Leaf Guard Add On

Seams, corners, and outlets are common sources of gutter leaks. When the rest of the system is in good shape, repairing the affected connection is often all it takes.

Gutters

Gutter Repair

Not every problem needs new gutters. We fix the gutters you already have when a repair is the smart move.

Some gutter companies only sell new systems and will not touch an old one. We do real repairs. Most gutter trouble comes down to a few things: a corner that leaks, a run that has lost its slope, loose hangers, a worn outlet or a section that took a hit.

Storm damage, a falling branch or a truck backing into the corner of the house? We replace the damaged sections and match them as closely as we can.

If the system is too far gone, we will tell you plainly and give you a price for both options so you can choose.

Signs You Need This

  • Dripping corners or end caps
  • Water pooling in one spot of the gutter
  • Sagging runs or gutters pulling off
  • Damage from a storm, tree or vehicle

What We Do

  • Reseal leaking corners, ends and joints
  • Re-slope runs so water drains to the outlet
  • Rehang loose gutters and downpipes

Black gutter, downpipe and new gable flashing
Without proper gutter flashing, water can run straight off the roof and behind the gutter, rotting out the fascia. The flashing directs that runoff into the gutter where it belongs.

Gutters

Gutter Flashing

A strip of metal that sends water into the gutter instead of behind it. Small part, big difference.

When rain runs off the roof, some of it can curl back under the shingles and run down behind the gutter. That is how fascia rots and how water ends up in walls. Gutter flashing, also called drip edge, bridges that gap.

We install flashing with new gutters and add it to existing systems where it is missing. We also do gable and trim flashing to tidy up the roof edges.

Signs You Need This

  • Water stains or rot on the fascia
  • Drips behind the gutter, not over it
  • Peeling paint at the roof edge
  • No metal edge visible under the shingles

What We Do

  • Install flashing under shingles and into the gutter
  • Add flashing to existing gutters
  • Gable and trim flashing
  • Colour match to gutters and trim

Deck Gutters

Stop the drip line off the edge of your deck or balcony onto the patio below.

Upper decks and balconies shed water off their edge, right onto the people, furniture and patio underneath. A deck gutter catches that water and sends it to a downpipe.

We fit deck gutters to new and existing decks and balconies, in colours to match your railing or trim.

Signs You Need This

  • Drips onto the patio or entry below
  • Water staining the siding under a deck
  • Wet stairs or walkways
  • Covered patio that is not staying dry

What We Do

  • Fit a gutter along the deck edge
  • Run a downpipe to a safe spot

Water Flow

Downpipes

The gutter catches the water. The downpipe gets it away from the house. Both have to be right.

Too few downpipes, or downpipes that are too small, is one of the most common reasons gutters overflow. We place downpipes where they carry the most water with the least fuss, and where they look tidy on the wall.

We install rectangular downpipes for standard systems and round downpipes for half round, in colours to match. We also move or add downpipes on existing systems and fix ones that have come loose or crushed.

Signs You Need This

  • Overflow at one end of a long run
  • Downpipe dumping water against the foundation
  • Crushed, loose or disconnected pipes
  • Water pooling near walkways or doors

What We Do

  • Add, move or upsize downpipes
  • Install round or rectangular pipes
  • Secure loose pipes with proper straps

Water Flow

Leaf Guards and Screens

Fewer clogs and less time on a ladder. Screens keep out leaves and needles while the water still gets through.

If you have trees near the house, you know the drill: gutters full of leaves every fall and needles all year. A good leaf screen keeps most of that out. Water drops through, and the debris dries and blows off. We install Alurex gutter guards.

We will be honest with you: no screen is maintenance free. But the right one for your trees and roof can cut cleaning way down. We can also add leaf catchers on the downpipes and bigger outlets so anything that gets in can get out.

We can price screens as an add on to any new install or put them on your existing gutters.

Signs You Need This

  • Cleaning your gutters more than twice a year
  • Fir or cedar needles in the gutters
  • Gutters that clog and overflow every fall
  • Tall roof that is risky to clean yourself

What We Do

  • Recommend a screen that suits your trees
  • Fit screens to new or existing gutters
  • Add leaf catchers on downpipes

Gutter Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean gutters work. Clogged gutters dump water where it does damage. We clear the whole system and tell you what we see.

We clean out the gutters by hand, flush the downpipes to make sure they run free and bag up the mess. While we are up there, we check the hangers, corners, slope and outlets.

If we spot a problem, you get a heads up with photos and a price. You decide what to do about it. No pressure.

Once in the fall after the leaves drop and once in the spring is a good rhythm for most homes. Homes under big trees may need more.

Signs You Need This

  • Water spilling over the front of the gutter
  • Plants or moss growing in the gutter
  • Downpipes that gurgle or do not run
  • It has been over a year since the last clean

ACM Siding

Flat, modern aluminum panels for siding, fascia, soffit and feature walls. Clean lines that hold their colour.

ACM stands for aluminum composite material. Each panel is two thin sheets of aluminum bonded to a solid core. It is light, rigid and stays flat, which is why you see it on modern homes, new builds and commercial buildings.

We install ACM siding, fascia, soffit and accent panels. Panels are measured and fabricated for your project so the joints line up and the lines stay straight. On new builds we can price it from the drawings during pre construction. We install Apolic ACM panels and will confirm the right panel and core for your building and the building code.

A Good Fit When

  • You want a clean, modern exterior
  • You are building a new home or commercial space
  • Your siding or trim is tired and dated
  • You want to wrap fascia, soffit, columns or a feature wall

Exterior

Fascia and Soffit

The boards your gutters hang on and the panels under your eaves. When water gets behind a gutter, this is what rots.

Fascia is the board along the roof edge that the gutter fastens to. Soffit is the panel underneath the overhang that lets your attic breathe. Years of overflow or a leaking gutter can rot both.

We repair and replace rotted fascia, wrap fascia in aluminum so it never needs paint, and install vented soffit to keep air moving. It is often best done at the same time as new gutters, so everything goes back up on solid wood.

Signs You Need This

  • Soft, dark or peeling fascia boards
  • Gutters that will not hold a screw
  • Stained or sagging soffit
  • Birds or pests getting into the eaves

Strata & Multi-Unit Gutter Services

Gutter replacement, repairs, and scheduled cleaning for townhome communities, low-rise buildings, and multi-building complexes.

A gutter project affects the people who live there. We coordinate with your property manager to schedule work around residents, communicate when each building will be affected, and keep shared entrances and walkways safe and tidy. Strata councils and property managers get clear updates on what’s been completed and what’s coming next.

Whether you’re dealing with recurring overflows or planning a replacement across several buildings, we help you determine what can be repaired, what needs replacing, and what can be managed through routine cleaning. That gives council a clear scope and a practical plan for budgeting the work.

Signs You Need This

  • Overflow complaints from several units
  • Old system at the end of its life
  • Recurring leaks at the same spots
  • No regular cleaning plan in place

What We Do

  • Assess the whole complex and price it clearly
  • Schedule around residents
  • Replace, repair or maintain
  • Report back with photos when done

Commercial Gutters

Bigger roofs mean a lot more water. Commercial systems need the right size and the right drainage.

Retail, office, industrial and mixed use buildings often need 6 inch gutters, larger outlets and more downpipes to keep up. We size the system to the roof and plan where the water goes so it is not dumping onto entrances, walkways or parking.

We also repair and maintain existing commercial systems.

Signs You Need This

  • Overflow onto entrances or walkways
  • Undersized gutters on a large roof
  • Damage from equipment or vehicles
  • Ongoing leaks and patch jobs

  • Size the system for the roof area
  • Install 6 inch gutters and large outlets

Pressure Washing

Siding, decks, fences, driveways and walkways, back to clean.

Moss, algae and grime build up fast in a wet climate. We pressure wash siding, decks, fences, driveways and walkways, using the right pressure for each surface so nothing gets damaged.

We clean roofs too. See roof cleaning below.

Exterior Cleaning

Roof Cleaning

Moss and debris hold water on the roof. Clearing them helps the roof last and keeps the gutters flowing.

Moss lifts shingles and holds moisture against the roof. It also washes down into the gutters and clogs them. We clear moss and debris from the roof and can pair it with a gutter cleaning so the whole system runs clear.

Signs You Need This

  • Moss growing between shingles
  • Debris piling up in valleys
  • Gutters filling with moss
  • Dark streaks on the roof

FAQ

Gutter Questions,
Plain Answers

How long do gutters last?

Aluminum and steel gutters usually last about 20 to 25 years when they are installed well and kept clean. Copper and zinc last much longer. Copper can last up to 50 years. Clogged gutters and bad slope shorten the life of any system.

What does seamless mean?

A seamless gutter is one continuous piece along each run of the roof. The only joints are at the corners and ends. Fewer joints means fewer places to leak.

Should I get 5 inch or 6 inch gutters?

5 inch works for most houses. 6 inch is the better pick for big roofs, steep roofs, roofs where two slopes dump into one gutter, and most commercial buildings. We look at the roof and tell you which one fits.

Can you fix my gutters, or do I need new ones?

Often they can be fixed. Leaking corners, loose runs, bad slope and worn outlets are all repairs. If the gutters are rusted through, badly bent or too small for the roof, replacing them is usually cheaper in the long run. We will give you an honest call.

Are leaf guards worth it?

If you have trees near the house, usually yes. A good screen keeps most leaves and needles out and cuts down how often you need a cleaning. No guard is maintenance free, so you still want a check now and then. We can price guards as an add on so you can decide.

How often should gutters be cleaned?

At least once a year, and twice is better: once in the fall after the leaves drop and once in the spring. Homes under big trees may need more.

How many downpipes do I need?

A common rule of thumb is about one downpipe for every 20 feet of gutter, but roof size, pitch and where the water can drain all change that. Not enough downpipes is one of the most common reasons gutters overflow.

Do you work on new builds?

Yes. We can price your gutters from the drawings during pre construction, or measure on site once the house is framed and the fascia is on. Either way you get a clear price for the full system.

Do you do strata and commercial work?

Yes. We work with strata councils, property managers and commercial owners on installs, replacements, repairs and regular maintenance.

What is ACM siding?

ACM is aluminum composite material: two thin sheets of aluminum bonded to a solid core. It makes flat, rigid panels that are used for modern siding, fascia, soffit and feature walls. We install it on homes, new builds and commercial buildings.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Installs come with a warranty of up to 10 years. Most jobs fall between 2 and 10 years depending on the work, and the materials carry their own manufacturer warranty on top of that. Ask us which one applies to your job.
